During this approximately 1 hour tour, which we normally do along the road or optional, on the trails of the private reserve, we will go in search of the most birds that exist in the region. With some luck we will be able to see scarlet macaws, green macaws, maybe even the king vulture as well as hummingbirds, trogons, tanagers and many other species.

This tour begins at 6 p.m. and takes place in the gardens of the hotel. It is a light and easy activity to do, however, it is surprising the amount of fauna species that can be seen with some luck, such as frogs, insects, maybe with luck some nocturnal mammals. An activity that clients usually enjoy very much as an introduction to the area. Ideal for families with children.

This is one of the most popular tours, in which we hike through the beautiful trails of the hotel's private reserve. This reserve covers hundreds of hectares, and together with the guide, we will go in search of species of birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians and insects. The flora is equally interesting, as the forests in the area are among the most diverse in the country. The tour departs at 2 PM and lasts 2.5 hours.

This tour departs from the hotel, and with the kayaks, we will navigate north, downstream, along the beautiful San Carlos River. Similar to the motor boat tour, you can see many species of animals, such as crocodiles, caimans, birds (vultures, macaws,) as well as mammals that live in the forests along the banks of the river. After the visit to Boca San Carlos, you will return to the hotel by car.

This tour is also one of the most popular in the area. We depart by boat directly from the hotel (next to the river) and sail north to Boca San Carlos, where the river joins the mighty San Juan River. During the tour it is common to see crocodiles, caimans, monkeys, sloths, as well as bird species, both terrestrial and aquatic.
